One of the most beautiful aspects of these two characters is the way that they support each other. Kat's sense of humor made this the funniest book within the series and that was completely unexpected for me. AND THEIR BANTER IS EVERYTHING!!!! They both have fun, yet no-nonsense personalities that work well with each other. From the first time that readers are introduced to them there is energy in the room. First, Kat and Tommy (Big South's bodyguard) had so much chemistry. This book picks up after those events and readers get the chance to indulge in her romance. Readers meet Kat for the first time in Let Me Love You but see her relationship with her husband deteriorate in a different book. Reading Let Me Please You was a great way to wrap up the McClain Brothers series. I enjoyed getting to see another side to Kat that we didn't get before. I'm pretty sure this was my first body guard romance and I was not disappointed. ![]() ![]() Rather than risk defeat, Arlen cast them both from a precipice, leaving the world without a savior, and opening a struggle for succession that threatens to tear the Free Cities of Thesa apart.
